This policy explains what personal information Abu Ali Contracting LLC (“Abu Ali Group”, “we”, “us”) collects through abualigroup.ae, why we collect it, how we store it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry form or request a quotation on this website, we ask for:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• The type of project you are enquiring about
• Any details you choose to write in the message field

Only the fields marked as required must be completed. Please do not send us identity documents, passport or Emirates ID copies, bank details or payment card information through the website forms — we never ask for these to respond to an enquiry.

2. Information collected automatically

• IP address. Recorded briefly to limit the number of enquiries that can be submitted from one connection per hour. This protects the forms from automated spam.
• Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and move through the site — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and which enquiry buttons are clicked. This is measurement data about site usage, not a profile of you personally.
• Spam-prevention field. Our forms contain a hidden field that is invisible to people and normally only filled in by automated bots. If it is completed, the submission is discarded.

3. How we use your information

We use what you send us only to:

• Reply to your enquiry and answer your questions
• Prepare and send you a quotation or proposal
• Arrange a site visit, call or meeting
• Keep a record of the project discussion for continuity
• Improve the website and the services we describe on it

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not add you to a marketing list or send you newsletters or promotional messages because you submitted an enquiry.

4. Cookies and third-party services

Some features of this site are provided by third parties, and using them means your browser contacts those companies directly:

• Google Analytics — sets cookies to measure site usage. You can block these with your browser settings, a cookie-blocking extension, or Google’s own opt-out browser add-on.
• Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Unsplash — some imagery is served from Unsplash’s content network.
• WhatsApp — if you tap our WhatsApp button, the conversation takes place inside WhatsApp and is governed by Meta’s privacy policy, not this one.
• Live chat — when our live chat widget is active, chat messages are processed by our chat provider (Tawk.to) in order to deliver them to us.

We do not use advertising or re-targeting cookies on this website.

5. Where your information goes

Enquiries submitted through the website are delivered by email to our office inbox and are read by the Abu Ali Group team handling your project. Where a project requires it, relevant details may be shared with our own engineering, fit-out or MEP teams, or with a subcontractor or authority involved in that specific project — for example, when preparing a Dubai Municipality or free-zone submission on your behalf.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so by a UAE authority, court or regulator.

6. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects: kept for up to 24 months, then deleted, so that we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us.
• Enquiries that become projects: kept as part of the project and contract record for as long as required by UAE commercial and tax law.
• Rate-limiting records: discarded within hours.

7. How we protect it

The website is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit. Enquiry forms are protected against automated abuse and against oversized or malformed submissions, and mail credentials are stored outside the public web directory. Access to the hosting control panel is protected by two-factor authentication.

No website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send confidential financial or identity documents by web form or unencrypted email.

8. Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), and under the GDPR where it applies to you as a visitor from the EU or UK, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Provide a copy of it
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
• Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
• Stop using it for a particular purpose

Email info@abualigroup.ae with your request and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for this.

9. Children

This website is intended for people enquiring about construction and design services in a business or property-owner capacity. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
